DNK Construction carries out professional demolition of houses, buildings and rooms for private and commercial clients across Greater Copenhagen and the whole of Zealand. We handle all forms of demolition: total demolition, partial demolition, selective demolition and internal demolition.
Before demolition begins we carry out an environmental survey to identify any hazardous materials such as asbestos and chlorinated paraffins. All waste is sorted and disposed of in accordance with current regulations.
We assist with all applications to the municipality, including demolition permits and any other permits required before work can start. Demolition is planned carefully with a strong focus on health and safety and consideration for neighbours.

What demolition work do we carry out?
We carry out all types of demolition — from internal strip-out and internal demolition to total demolition and selective demolition where parts of the building are retained.
Total demolition leaves a cleared site ready for new construction. We coordinate the environmental survey, permits, the demolition itself and disposal of all waste. We work across the whole of Zealand — in Greater Copenhagen, Helsingør, Hillerød, Roskilde, Køge and Frederikssund.

Demolition permits, environmental survey and waste
Almost all demolition work has to be notified to the municipality before it starts, and larger jobs need an actual demolition permit. What has to be applied for depends on the type of building and the extent of the work. We handle the application and the correspondence with the municipality, so you do not have to work through the Danish requirements yourself.
Older buildings can contain hazardous materials such as asbestos, PCB and lead. That is why we carry out an environmental survey before demolition begins. If hazardous substances are found they are removed and disposed of separately, and the remaining materials are sorted and taken away under the applicable rules. Asbestos is always handled by specialists.
If the demolition is the first stage of a larger project, we are happy to take the whole job. We carry out house and apartment renovation, bathroom renovation and indoor tiling, so you have the same contact from the first wall coming down to the last room being finished.
